Bangkok 18 January 2024 – Chia Tai Company Limited, Thailand’s leading innovative agricultural company, actively participates in the Bangkok Design Week 2024, organized by the Creative Economy Agency (Public Organization) or CEA. This year's event, themed "Discover South Sukhumvit, The Balance of Innovation and Local Charm", takes place in the South Sukhumvit area. As one of the participating organizations, Chia Tai opens the company’s headquarters at Sukhumvit 60 to the public, featuring a unique vegetable garden in the heart of South Sukhumvit. By doing this, Chia Tai aims to inspire individuals on cultivating vegetables in limited spaces through the "Chia Tai Healthy Urban Farm" initiative. We cordially extend a warm invitation to everyone to explore these agriculture and green spaces from 27 January to 4 February 2024, between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. at Chia Tai Headquarters on Sukhumvit 60.
Discover the engaging activities awaiting you at Bangkok Design Week 2024's "Chia Tai Healthy Urban Farm" including:
1. Take part in the exciting Walk Rally activity at three checkpoints (free of charge) and receive cool souvenirs. This activity is available twice daily: in the morning from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and in the afternoon from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Embark on a delightful journey starting from checkpoint one, where you will be transported back in time to explore the original roots of Chia Tai and capture the beautiful delights of our Chia Tai Experience Hall before moving on to the second checkpoint, which is a vibrant vegetable garden featuring Chia Tai seeds. Here, you will surely marvel at the remarkable design of our salad garden, showcasing Bed Garden, Vertical Farming, and Glass House dome styles. Then, engage in a hands-on workshop on growing microgreens, and let the experience culminate in pure satisfaction at the third checkpoint, which is Chia Tai Farm Eatery Shop. Here, you can join us for a cooking workshop, where you will joyfully learn to create various mouthwatering dishes like healthy salad dressings, tomato salads, and microgreen wraps, all of which you can take home.
2. Do not miss the chance to indulge in the healthy menu crafted by Chia Tai Farm Eatery exclusively for Bangkok Design Week 2024, such as ‘Cioppino Soup’, an Italian seafood stew in rich tomato broth, ‘Couscous Salad with Chorizo’, a refreshing couscous dish with fresh tomato, raisin, avocado and spicy Spanish pork sausage, Chorizo, as well as ‘Australian Premium Beef Ribeye Steak’, serve with deep fried corn and green pepper sauce.
