CEO of Chia Tai receives Honorary Doctorate Degree in Agricultural Research and Development from Kasetsart University

Bangkok 14 October 2020 - Mr. Manas Chiaravanond, Chief Executive Officer of Chia Tai Company Limited, Thailand’s leading innovative agricultural company, has recently received the Honorary Doctorate Degree in Agricultural Research and Development from Faculty of Agriculture at Kamphaeng Saen, Kasetsart University, conferred by Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana in the 2020 Commencement Ceremony. The university awards him the honorary degree to recognize him as a highly respected leading figure in the agricultural industry both locally and internationally. His dedication ranges from the unwavering promotion and commitment in extensive research and development of agricultural innovations to maximize the potential of agricultural stability, uplift farmers’ quality of life and firmly establish food security for consumers at large.  In this regard, Kasetsart University Council has approved to award this Honorary Doctorate Degree to Mr. Manas Chiaravanond to present a mark of honour and encourage Chia Tai towards greater efforts in continuously delivering agricultural innovations that contribute to the society. The Commencement Ceremony has been hosted at Chakrabandhu Pensiri Hall, Kasetsart University, Bangkhen Campus.

 

On this occasion, several people have joined to congratulate Mr. Manas Chiaravanond on the remarkable achievement, including the faculty members of Faculty of Agriculture at Kamphaeng Saen, Kasetsart University led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pabhop Sinchayakul, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture; Asst. Prof. Dr. Sasithorn Nakthong, Associate Dean for Research and Academic Services; and Asst. Prof. Dr. Suphachai Amkha, Associate Dean for Human Resource Development and International Relations; alongside Chia Tai’s top executives.
