Nakhon Pathom 30 November 2020 - Mr. Manas Chiaravanond, Chief Executive Officer together with Ms. Manunporn Chiaravanond, Assistant Vice President, Chief Operating Officer's Office of Chia Tai Company Limited, Thailand’s leading innovative agricultural company, has recently presented 96 scholarships under “Chia Tai Education Fund – Dr. Manu – Dr. Manas Chiaravanond” in 2020 to undergraduate students of Faculty of Agriculture at Kamphaeng Saen, Kasetsart University. The scholarships are divided into 4 categories, i.e. Scholarships for Outstanding Education Excellence, Scholarships for Education Excellence, Scholarships for Underprivileged Students, and Scholarships for Entrepreneurs. On top of that, Chia Tai supported funds for the establishment of Product and Agricultural Innovation Development Building. This facility will be used as a place where the university students can work their way towards becoming resourceful entrepreneurs in the future. On this memorable occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pabhop Sinchayakul, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at Kamphaeng Saen, Kasetsart University honored his presence to participate in the scholarship donation ceremony alongside representatives of the scholarship recipients.
Essentially, Chia Tai has provided scholarships under “Chia Tai Education Fund – Dr. Manu – Dr. Manas Chiaravanond” to undergraduate students of Kasetsart University for over 9 years with an aim to offer education promotion, as well as contributing to the development of personnel in agricultural sector, which will eventually enhance Thai agriculture industry towards sustainable advancement. Furthermore, Chia Tai has opened up great opportunities for university students to join the company’s internship program. Certainly, all these efforts are testament to Chia Tai’s unwavering commitment on delivering agricultural innovations for sustainable quality of life.
